Duties

Help

  • Incumbent supervises subordinate staff responsible for dealing with implementing auction procedures and with public outreach and customer service, including staff located in Washington, DC and Gettysburg, PA.
  • Incumbent supervises the administration of all ongoing auction events, including the majority of communications between the Commission, applicants, and qualified bidders, including by monitoring and overseeing FTEs and contractors responsible for customer service, and overseeing the creation of educational and registration materials.
  • Develops recommendations to the Division Chief in the preparation of responses to audit reports, and serves as a liaison and coordinator between the Division and other Bureaus and Offices, contractors, and qualified bidders.
  • Determines resource requirements to plan and execute all phases of the auction process, monitors progress through each phase of the auction to ensure that all administrative milestones are met.
  • Creating and making recommendations regarding auction timelines and critical path analyses and drafting statements of work and task orders for specific auction projects.

GS-14 Specialized Experience:  Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 in the Federal service.  

For this position, specialized experience includes the following:    

  1. Experience leading a marketing team delivering integrated campaigns (digital, social, email, web) from strategy through execution, by ensuring quality control check, and measurable results; AND
  2. Experience developing marketing plans and priorities aligned to organizational goals, coordinating across stakeholders to manage schedules, resources, and competing deadlines; AND
  3. Experience overseeing customer outreach and communications operations by monitoring response channels to ensure accurate messaging and high service standards.

GS-15 Specialized Experience:  Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 in the Federal service.  

For this position, specialized experience includes the following:

  1. Experience supervising and/or directing a marketing outreach staff responsible for public communications and customer service, and assigned/review work to adjust priorities to meet changing mission needs; AND

  2. Experience establishing marketing priorities, policies, schedules, and strategies to ensure timely delivery of outreach products and campaign milestones; AND

  3. Experience leading development and implementation of marketing tools/technologies and oversee creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and program documentation; AND

  4. Experience overseeing high-visibility outreach operations by managing communications with stakeholders, customers, directing response channels, and ensuring accurate service standards.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
