Duties

Help

  • Primarily responsible in establishing and administering commercial reservation and ticketing services with airlines, hotels, cruises, and trip insurance tour packages and travel related services for customers.
  • Provides clear and accurate guidance and coordination of leisure travel information and referral services for individual and group customers. Works under the supervision of ITT Coordinator.
  • Provides advice concerning passports, visas and travel protocols. Uses preferred suppliers for the best value for customers.
  • Assists the coordinator in the operation of Attraction Tickets and Tours.
  • Greets and assists customers on a daily basis by providing complete and updated ticket information to all eligible users.
  • Performs administrative work as needed to support the mission.
  • Controls security of change funds, cash sales and safe contents.
  • Prepares daily activity reports and deposits in accordance with NAF accounting policies and related directives.
  • Edits reports for correctness and neatness before submission.
  • Assists in maintaining and conducting monthly inventory.
  • Performs general office duties to include telephone usage, preparation of general correspondence and routine typing.
  • Participates in site visits, conferences and other training conducted by the coordinator.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Position is a Position of Trust.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Desirable a minimum 1 year experience with computer based travel reservations and theme park ticketing to include domestic and international travel. Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) cruise counselor certified or presently enrolled in certification process is desirable. Must have simple clerical and bookkeeping experience. Must be able to read and write English and have a clear speaking voice. Subject to a satisfactory completion of a T1 national background check investigation. Must have Microsoft office experience, basic knowledge of world geography and the ability to handle customer compliants and concerns

Education
