Help

The major duties of the Management Analyst (Team Lead) position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Serves as team leader.
  • Serves as Bureau Coordinator for TECS, NLETS, NCIC, and other intelligence systems.
  • Trains or arranges for the training of team members in methods and techniques of team building and working in teams to accomplish tasks and projects.
  • Evaluates current operating programs and projects associated with intelligence information systems, including objectives, work operations and staffing resources.
  • Preparing a variety of statistical and technical reports including study findings and recommendations for systems improvements.

MOBILITY PLAN: New employees hired pursuant to this vacancy announcement must sign a mobility agreement. Qualifications

To qualify for the Management Analyst (Team Lead) position at the GS-13 grade level, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume.

Specialized experience must include all of:

  • Planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operations and programs; AND
  • Developing long range planning, reviews, analysis and complex studies of assigned projects and programs; AND
  • Preparing reports and providing recommendations; AND
  • Leading a team reviewing, conducting and evaluating systems requirements and audits.

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
