Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to lead three or more employees who install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes.
This vacancy announcement is for a Dual-Status Technician position which requires active membership in the New Jersey National Guard (uniformed military service). Official appointment is not effective until membership within the New Jersey National Guard is confirmed by the gaining Human Resources Office.

Utilizing principles, basic functions and application of theory of electronic integrated systems equipment
Diagnosing problems and determining needed repairs for malfunctions in electronic integrated systems equipment
Making mechanical repairs that required the use of precision measuring and calibrating equipment
Using a wide variety of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE)
Interpreting technical manuals, specifications, and publications.
In addition to the experience above, you must have the following experience(s) as well:
Planning, organizing, and leading the work of others in fields directly related the repair function of an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic.
Performing administrative functions to include reading and interpreting a variety of technical publications used in the repair of supported equipment
Providing guidance to others in work relating to Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanics
