Duties

Help
  • Responsible for management control and efficient operation of a Recreational Lodging operation.
  • Responsible for the front office, housekeeping and maintenance functions. Conducts surveys and studies to ensure that services and facilities meet the needs, cleanliness and desire of patrons.
  • Implements new policies or innovative promotions that increase occupancy rate, deliver quality guest service and maintain the required level of profitability. Develops and implements strategies/procedures to ensure safety and security of occupants.
  • Maintains oversight all facets of business operations to include financial operations: development, execution of Non-appropriated Fund operating budgets, Capital Purchase, Minor Construction (CPMC) budgets, Appropriated Fund (APF) expenditures.
  • Reviews/analyzes monthly financial operations, ensuring integrity of financial transactions and procurement management. Directs the preparation and execution of all reports required by higher authority.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:

  1. Progressively responsible management experience in hospitality operations with knowledge of funding streams and demonstrated work experience developing and executing budgets and marketing.
  2. Ability to supervise a diverse workforce.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  4. Deals effectively with subordinates, management officials, and patrons.
  5. Ability to use a computer and various Microsoft Office software.
  6. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

HIGH QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:
  1. Must have at least 3 years of experience in lodging, hospitality, or other relevant operations.
  2. Must have 1 year in retail operations.
  3. Must have 1 year of supervisory experience.

  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
