Duties

Help
  • Train subordinates on proper test score data entry techniques.
  • Resolve test score inconsistencies or problems.
  • Enter validated test score into automated systems.
  • Prepare reports on the testing program for management.
  • Review test scores for validity and consistency.
  • Oversee test security, control, and storage procedures.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience Statement (HR/SME) GS-06:
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must clearly describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled, such as I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Conducting aptitude and qualification testing of applicants; Providing oral instructions to groups of people; Managing the security and accountability of testing materials; Utilizing a variety of office automated equipment.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Applicants who are current Federal employees or who are eligible for Reinstatement may be able to qualify with experience equivalent to the second lower grade, (GS-05).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
In addition, if your step reflects '00', you must include your current salary for each position.

Education

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
