Help
  • Responsible to develop, analyze, assess, advise, and improve the effectiveness of the DCDC Command Readiness programs supporting 45 CC/S/A/FA.
  • Interact daily with senior military/civilian/commercial personnel and organizations.
  • Conduct studies and analyses of DCDC and DoD initiatives and programs, including the development of performance measures to support understanding critical readiness gaps that impact efficient management and oversight of resources.
  • Participate in developing, training and executing Command Readiness Operations for the DCDC by preparing diverse elements for their appropriate organizational roles and functions.
  • Monitor DCDC personnel, equipping and training levels as it relates to the Command's readiness program and resourcing issues.
  • Reviews Concepts of Operations, Plans and Orders to ensure operational approach and directed operations, activities and investments align to and support accomplishment of prescribed Command's MET/Fs.

  • This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
  • In accordance with the DoD 8140 policy series, the position is subject to completing Foundational Qualifications in 9 months and completing Residential Qualification requirements overall in 12 months.
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
  • This is a Drug Testing designated position.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.

For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in developing and planning an effective readiness program, conducting analysis of plans, policies and procedures, and assessing critical readiness gaps.

Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.

Education

There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GG-13 grade level.

  • The term appointment will automatically terminate upon the expiration date, unless at an earlier date, an extension is granted.
  • This term appointment may be terminated at the agency's discretion.
  • May be extended after initial period up to a total of 5 years.
  • This CES term appointment may be eligible for conversion to a CES permanent appointment without further competition.
  • This position is in the Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It is being recruited under 10 U.S.C. 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system.
  • This appointment does not confer eligibility to be non-competitively converted to the competitive service.

  • Telework availability will be based upon the mission requirements and supervisory determination.
  • A three year probationary period may be required.
