Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the Marine Forces Reserve/Marine Forces South of MARFORRES NOLA.

You will manage life-cycle acquisition of complex contract specializations to include acquisition planning, establishment of acquisition strategy, cost/price analysis, contract negotiation, and contract administration.
You will review procurement requests to assure clarity, adequacy and completeness.
You will review contract terms and technical specifications to identify and special requirements.
You will analyze settlement proposals, audit reports, technical evaluations, and subcontractor claims.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing expertise analyzing difficult contracting issues and identifying alternative courses of action, modifying standard contracting procedures and terms to satisfy specialized requirements, and solving a variety of contracting problems.
