The United States Space Force (USSF) at Patrick Space Force Station, Florida is searching for a Program Manager to support SLD 45 (NH-0301-03, GS-12/13 equivalent).

Our Mission:
Program Manager for SLD 45 Consolidated Safety Support Contract (CSSC) and Resource Program Manager for Space Launch Delta 45 Safety Office. Provide Program Management of any Safety Support Contracts with oversight for all Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) monitoring and assessing various technical areas while regularly documenting contractor performance. Review, manage and approve all invoices submitted by Safety Support Contractors in WAWF. As Safety's Resource Manager, provide critical management of SE's resources by effectively planning, scheduling, and organizing manpower and financial assets. Provide administrative and financial management support to the Chief of Safety and SE personnel and oversee Job Order Number (JON) account monitoring. Ensure SE's funding level is sufficient for projected fiscal year operations, managing critical reallocations, prioritizing tasks, and/or requesting additional funds as needed. Track, manage, and respond to all inquiries regarding SE charges associated with JONs supporting both DoD and range users. Effectively operate the installation's personnel resource systems and manage SE requirements to obtain, employ, and retain the best possible agents of safety. Develop, submit and track all civilian personnel actions, ensuring timely processing and completion. Submit requests for personnel action for all anticipated and expected personnel changes including new hires, changes to work schedule type, or personal information requiring update in an employee's official record. Collaborates, communicates, and accomplishes mission essential tasks and requirements in seamless cooperation with the SLD 45/SE team, as well as other teams, organizations, and mission partners. Establishes customer alliances, anticipates and fulfills customer needs, and translates customer needs to programs/projects. Identifies and optimizes resources to accomplish multiple projects/programs goals. Promotes and maintains environment of cooperation and teamwork.

6. Ability to organize work, set priorities, and determine resource requirements; determine goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinate with other organizations; monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes.
7. Ability to identify problems and use sound judgment and decisions to generate and evaluate alternatives and make recommendations

  • May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
  • Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed “Unscheduled Telework”.
  • This position will close after 5 business days or 75 applications, whichever comes first.
  • Employee may be required to perform travel by military or commercial passenger aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments.
  • PCS / Relocation funding is authorized.
  • Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): 15 days a year.
