The Supervisory Management Analyst assists in the OIG's mission by providing timely, cost effective, professional, and useful products and services to clients and stakeholders.

  • Provides technical guidance to nationwide audit components regarding the collection, analysis, and reporting of recurring performance data and information systems requirements within JA. This is conducted by onsite visits, formal directives and telephone responses on urgent issues that require immediate determinations.
  • Coordinates the administrative aspects of nationwide and component performance management; and maintains budget account status for training, travel, and other funding allocations.
  • Leads audit and administrative professionals who conduct the day-to-day administrative and data system operations. Provides overall guidance, sets priorities, and insures timely performance of assignments.
  • Serves as the technical expert regarding effective implementation of automated documentation techniques and information technology analysis practices.
  • Plans and conducts special analyses with responsibility for resolving management problems or evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of programs or activities, which may be initiated by the OIG or Agency officials.
  • Serves as the AIGA's Contracting Officer's Technical Representative for special professional service contracts that may be required to maximize the efficiency of the Office's limited staff by contracting out for unique services that can be most economically provided by consultants and/or public accounting firms.

Qualifications

The GS-15 salary range starts at $ 169,279 to 197,200 per year.  
 
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is developing, communicating, implementing and evaluating complex strategic initiatives that impact a large organization with diverse functional sub-organizations; managing multiple work groups and on-going projects requiring monitoring different interconnected tasks and activities; implementing solutions to complex issues; and, building trust and communications with internal and external stakeholders.

A panel of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will conduct the structured interview and assign a score for each of the four required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) listed below, based on your responses to the interview questions.

  2. Ability to influence, motivate, and challenge others; adapts leadership styles to a variety of situations.
  3. Mastery of and skill in program development and execution.
  4. Mastery of and skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing management.

Consideration will be given to performance appraisals and incentive awards in merit promotion selection decisions in accordance with 5 CFR 335.103(b)(3). You should list any relevant performance appraisals and incentive awards in your resume so that information will be taken into consideration during the selection process.  If selected, you may be required to provide supporting documentation.
