This position is covered by the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Testing Program. Any applicant tentatively selected for this position will be subject to pre-employment or pre-appointment drug screening. Persons occupying a "testing designated position (TDP)" will be subject to random drug and/or alcohol testing.
You MUST submit a copy of your most recent (non-award) SF-50, Notification of Personnel Action, that verifies your position title, series, grade, tenure, and organization of record. Eligible applicants meeting the minimum qualification requirements, if applicable, may be further evaluated. Based on this evaluation, applicants will be placed in one of the following categories: score order, category grouping, or alphabetical and referred to the selecting official for consideration.
This position is covered by Public Law 92.297 for early retirement purposes.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, candidates will be rated in accordance with the instructions on FAA Form 3330-43-1, Rating of Air Traffic Experience for AT Movement.
Salary will be set in accordance with the Air Traffic Specialized Pay Plan (ATSPP) Manual.
Selection and placement are contingent upon waiver or completion of satisfactory security/medical requirements.
The person selected for this position must maintain medical clearance.
Permanent position is covered under Public Law 92-297 for early retirement purposes.
If the Agency decides to interview any qualified employee on the selection list, then all on the list who are qualified must be interviewed.
