DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operations and support for commercial sponsorship program at 2d Force Support Squadron, Barksdale AFB. Garners sponsorship support to underwrite 2FSS programs and events. Assists Marketing Director in creating marketing strategies to inform potential sponsors and entice participation. Identifies and cultivates continuing sponsorship by providing sponsors with professional marketing and support services. Serves as a representative for and contract negotiation, as well as administration of contracts and programs between sponsors and 2FSS. Negotiates mutually beneficial sponsorship terms and executes all supporting documents. Coordinates with the installation's Staff Judge Advocate to ensure terms of each sponsorship agreement and follows all procedural guidance, regulations and policies. Develops and implements CSP plan for base-wide special events and all 2FSS facility MWR programs. Attends events and serves as point of contact for sponsors, including nights and weekends, as needed. Conducts commercial sponsorship training for FSS personnel. Provides guidance for the base regarding commercial sponsorship policy/regulations to include base military, private organizations, non-federal entities and groups. Performs commercial sponsorship support through office duties, advertising/promotion, posting event packages and evaluating responses. Tracks payment of advertising to ensure proper accountability and credit to FSS fund. Prepares briefings as needed. Provides Air Force level reporting on status and progress of programs. Evaluates response to CSP program and makes/recommends appropriate adjustments. Performs other duties as assigned by Marketing Director. Maintains awareness of programs/events eligible for commercial sponsorship. Develops solicitation packages and negotiates terms of sponsorship agreements for FSS programs and events that qualify for sponsorship. Responsible for developing pricing and rate structure in collaboration with 2 FSS Marketing Director for commercial sponsorships and paid advertising in NAFI media. Sells advertising in FSS media, funded with NAFs and facilitates the acceptanceof goods, services, and cash donated to the NAFI in support of MWR programs.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:
Applicant must have progressively responsible experience in business or related activities which demonstrate the ability to perform at this level. Ability to plan and implement new programs without the benefit of established criteria. Must possess excellent written and communication skills. Knowledge of Air Force regulations concerning 2FSS activities is helpful. Experience with desktop publishing software is desired. Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and the has the organizational skills to coordinate, plan and schedule effectively. Bachelor's degree in business or other related field is desired. Satisfactory completion of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) is required. Outside sales experience preferred.

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
