Help
  • You will develop policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
  • You will develop systems security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures.
  • You will assist in the coordination of any cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews are synchronized and coordinated with affected parties and organizations

Qualifications

DS-05:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-04(GS-11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.
  • Promote awareness of security issues among management and ensuring sound security principles are reflected in organizations' visions and goals.
  • Conduct systems security evaluations, audits, and reviews.
DS-04:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-03(GS-9/11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Develop and implement programs to ensure that systems, network, and data users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures.
  • Complete network and systems design to ensure implementation of appropriate systems security policies.
  • Assess security events to determine impact and implement corrective actions.

DS-03:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-02(GS-5/8) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Assist in conducting systems security evaluations, audits, and reviews.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of programs to ensure that systems, network, and data users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the assessment of security events to determine impact and implementing corrective actions.
