Duties

Help
  • Manages a large business activity. Formulates instructions/directives necessary to operate a fluid profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base. Represents the activity at conferences to special interest groups/other agencies.
  • Coordinates functions with community, and military representatives. As a second level supervisor reviews the actions of subordinate supervisors. Compares prices, service/environment to comparable venues, making recommendations to the Program Manager.
  • Conducts management review of patron programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures. Evaluates the success of programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment.
  • Selects employees, approves performance evaluations, recommends personnel actions and takes or approves disciplinary actions. Monitors the procurement of all supplies and equipment for the activity. Monitors inventory, labor and supply costs.
  • Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, develops activity financial plan. Incumbent responsible for operational control of full, part time and flex NAF positions.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

  • Work experience managing or directing the activities of the type of business (restaurant, bowling center, golf course, multi-location retail stores, gift shops)
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
  • Possess one (1) year of experience driving e-commerce and webstore expansion by extending traditional retail management principles into the digital realm-overseeing all revenue streams through comprehensive cost analysis, managing multi-channel inventory between physical and online operations.
  • Possess one (1) year of professional experience monitoring and managing the procurement of all supplies and equipment. Overseeing all vendor and service agreements, which involves negotiation, monitoring compliance, coordinating renewals, and serving as the primary authority on all invoice submissions to accounting.
  • Possess one (1) year of professional experience managing operational efficiency by creating and updating SOPs to optimize checkout, inventory restocking, and scheduling, while overseeing Gift Shop and Warehouse operations to streamline inventory management, receiving, and store transfers.
