The Director of Anacostia Community Museum will lead the senior management of ACM to conduct the museum's mission and is responsible for management of ACM's operations, finance and administration.
In this position, you will:
Oversee the development, justification, allocation, and execution of the annual operating budget for the ACM.
Oversee the planning, development and execution of Museum exhibitions; and ensuring systematic review of exhibition content, design, and installation.
Oversee exhibitions, educational and public programs, scholarly initiatives, collections management, and the ACM's on-line presence.
Oversee the management of the Museum's collections.
Requires career/career-conditional status or eligibility.

Qualifications
Experience: You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal Service. For this position, specialized experience is defined as demonstrating leadership and familiarity with managing museum projects and functions, overseeing and analyzing financial operations, scholarly activities, and directing operations and programs of a public or private museum.
