Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinate, develop, manage, and validate the implementation of new and existing functional requirements for Navy enlisted advancement system tools and applications, as well as for associated interfacing systems, 2) Perform Navy enlisted advancement system data integrity checks, test revised or new system applications, and conduct analysis and validation of advancement results, 3) Originate, conduct, and direct research, analysis, and testing for statistical studies, research projects, and new operational methodologies for advancement systems and exam construction, and 4) Prepare and present briefs, analysis, demonstrations, and recommendations to Navy enlisted advancement management and stakeholders. A combination of experience and education with at least 24 semester hours of mathematics and statistics, including at least 12 hours in mathematics and 6 hours in statistics, as shown above in A, plus appropriate experience or additional education. Meet the mathematics course requirement by having at least four of the following: differential calculus, integral calculus, advanced calculus, theory of equations, vector analysis, advanced algebra, linear algebra, mathematical logic, differential equations, or any other advanced course in mathematics for which one of these was a prerequisite.
