Duties

Help

Applicants will be reviewed and referred every 10 days until the close of this announcement. Job announcement may close early if all positions are filled.

Operates and performs operator maintenance on one or more vehicles to include: passenger shuttle vans/cars and cargo vans with gross weight of more than 10,000 pounds and up to 26,000 pounds. Operates vehicle through all kinds of traffic, depending upon the type of vehicle being operated. Loads and unloads cargo by hand. Exercises caution in preventing overloading and in securing cargo to prevent damage or loss in transit and for the safety and comfort of passengers. Determines shortest and safest routes. Observes safety rules, regulations and posted traffic controls and highway guide signs. Cleans interior/exterior of vehicle to in-house standards after each use. Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:
Must have skill in maneuvering and driving vehicles weighing more than 10,000 pounds and up to 26,000 pounds. Must have knowledge of sizes and weights of vehicles.
