Duties

Help

The Senior Judicial Assistant is responsible for advanced administrative and secretarial duties in support of the Justice including coordinating travel and logistics for external appearances, organizing and preparing event briefing materials for review, managing incoming requests and invitations, drafting correspondence and public remarks, scheduling and maintaining the Justice's calendar, liaising with internal Court offices, facilitating staff hiring and evaluations, and general senior office administration matters. Other duties may be required.

Qualifications

Five years of executive administrative experience required; direct support of a principal preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to establish and follow the priority of assignments and to produce quality work under time constraints essential. Excellent organizational skills, the ability to respond to requests on short notice and manage multiple tasks under stringent deadlines is essential. Flexibility to work extended hours is strongly preferred. Experience performing advanced research, and ability to analyze, organize and maintain the assembly of documents (including confidential documents) within established deadlines required. Must possess the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment. Supervisory experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.

Education

Bachelor's degree required.
