Duties

Help

  • Verifies all cash received, to include dollar change fund.
  • Receives, counts, and verifies monies received with daily cash reports for accuracy.
  • Greets guests and seats customers at their tables, provide menus
  • Cashes out all customer dining room checks via point of sales system (POS), to include banquet contracts
  • Assures that all patrons furnish proper identification when situation warrants such action.
  • Resets slot machines after jackpot payout
  • Maintains necessary records and prepares required reports for each shift including daily activity report and verifies employee change funds.
  • Answers incoming phone calls to take reservations, take out orders and answers any inquiries about upcoming events at the officer Club.
  • Maintains the work area in a presentable condition.
  • Incumbent must present a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance at all times and must work harmoniously with co-workers and members of the MWR Department.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Satisfactorily complete all background checks to include National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI/T1).
  • Incumbent must be able to work varied work schedules to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • The work may require some physical effort, such as prolonged standing, walking, bending, or sitting.
  • There is a danger of slipping on a floor where food or beverages have been spilled.

Qualifications

Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs. A qualified candidate possesses the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. (MUST submit proof at the time of application)
  • Six (6) months general experience.
  • Must be able to handle money accurately.
  • Ability to operate a cash register and personal computer. Incumbent must have basic accounting knowledge.
  • Must possess good customer service skills.

This position does not have an educational requirement.

Additional information

  • Selection may be tentative pending the completion of the satisfactory employment reference checks and receipt of proof of education (where applicable). Participation in the Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer is required.
  • Non-US Citizen or Non-US Bona Fide Resident Alien (Non-Green Card Holder) applicants who are SOFA sponsored must provide a completed police record check with at least seven (7) years of history from the embassy/consulate of their country of citizenship upon receipt of a formal job offer.
  • All candidates must reside within the commuting area.

  • Experience with receiving, counting and verifying money.
  • Experience with cash processing policies and procedures.
