Help

There are seven occupations within CIA's Center for Global Health Services to include: Medical Officer (Physicians & Psychiatrists), Registered nurse, Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, Preventative Health Officer, Clinical Psychologist, and Organizational Psychologist.

  • You must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years of age; dual-national US citizens are eligible.

  • You must be willing to move to the Washington, DC area.
  • You must successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview, and a comprehensive background investigation.

General Minimum Qualifications (dependent on position)
  • 5 years of relevant work experience, to include military service, civilian emergency medicine, or extensive experience practicing in remote or austere environments
  • Active unrestricted licensure in one or more states
  • Active board certification
  • Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation
