Duties

Help

Handle and collects cash and credit transactions, takes reservations and payments for scheduled activities, operates Point of Sales (POS).

Assigns lockers, assists in taking inventory and replenish pro-shop merchandise, as needed.

Responsible for basic slot machine operations and slot pay-outs.

Decorates and cleans up for schedule activities (i.e. for special events, activities, or parties).

Responsible for manning the customer service desk and maintains the cleanliness of assigned work areas.

Posts announcements and recruits participants for scheduled activities regarding leagues, tournaments, special events.

Provides facility and program information to patrons.

Informs supervisor/mechanic of equipment malfunctions that may require attention.

Opens and closes facility as required.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

The 31ST Force Support Squadron is not currently providing logistical support. Applicants must provide proper documentation indicating they are already a supported member of Aviano AB.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures.

Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable; however, no experience is required.

Direct handling of cash items, and use of cash accountability control methods is required.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
