The Office of General Counsel (OGC) for the U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General has a great opportunity to join our Operations team as an Operations Analyst. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player that is willing to learn and work in our Headquarters office to help support the teams within OGC. Bring your skills and voice to our team!
In support of OGC the successful candidate may work with multiple teams within OGC, including our Communications, Government Relations, Legal Services teams, as well as our Employee Relations, and FOIA, Policy and Records teams. The analyst will assist the office with a wide variety of projects ranging from subpoena processing, Giglio searches, SharePoint site building and maintenance, research, tech testing and new tool development, contracting officer representative, general office duties, small event planning and coordination, maintaining strategic calendars, and assisting our attorneys and other professional staff within OGC.
The successful candidate will be as self-starter responsible for independently performing assignments which may require working with staff at all levels in both OGC and the rest of the OIG.
This position is being advertised at the Journey Band level, equivalent to a GS-9 to GS-13. The salary range for this position is $69,923.00 - $156,755.00. The salary figures include locality pay. Promotion potential to a GS-13 equivalent is at management's discretion.

Working with CIO/RISC and testing AI solutions
Setting up training for all OGC
Contracting Office Representative for all OGC
Building, tracking, and working with budget, business plan, and performance evaluation data
Coordination with supervisors and staff across OGC and the OIG
Must be able to obtain and maintain Moderate Background Investigation security clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued credit card
May be required to successfully complete a 12-month probationary period

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
You must meet ALL of the minimum qualifications listed below.
Applicants must have specialized experience in processing subpoenas.

Applicants must have specialized experience in SharePoint site creation and maintenance.
