Summary
This position is located at: Fort Campbell, Cole Park Golf Course.

United States (U.S.) Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Operate large, complex riding lawn mower (e.g., multiple and independently controlled cutting decks) and/or specially designed riding mowers to mow in areas requiring attention to space and environment.
Equipment characteristics include single function performance and components that are independently controlled through various hydraulic and/or mechanical devises.
Performs tasks requiring significant manual skill, very heavy physical effort, and detailed procedures (preparing ground for sod, flowers and shrubs) following drawings, specifications while utilizing a knowledge of project requirements.
Cut cups for hole locations. Clean up trash and debris.
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Must be able to work during the hours of operation which includes weekends, nights, and holidays, as well as support for special events and programs.
Works indoors and outdoors. May be exposed to adverse weather conditions when working outdoors.
Exposed to drafts, noise, dust, and dirt. Possibility of bruises, muscle strains, cuts and scrapes.
Required to follow safety procedures and use standard safety equipment such as gloves, ear protectors, and safety glasses and exercise proper handling of equipment to avoid serious injury in the work area.
Requires frequent lifting and moving of equipment weighing over 50 pounds.
Very heavy physical effort is required in operating large, riding mowers on grades and in areas with bushes, trees, and other visible obstacles that require significant maneuvering and level control.
Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2. This position also requires a physical.
Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
Failure to satisfactory complete the physical and background checks may result in separation.

Allowances and Differentials
This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
