Help
  • Under general supervision, performs routine and recurring assignments in the delivery of Information Technology customer support services.
  • Participates in the planning and delivery of a full range of Information Technology customer support services to the organization. Identifies and resolves issues and problems.
  • Provides information and assistance to customers including system hardware/software installations, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Evaluates established methods and procedures and prepares recommendations for changes in methods and practices where appropriate. Presents formal and informal training to customers.
  • Reports, responds to and resolves customer requests. Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles and practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Work Experience that includes:

  • Participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of IT customer support services.
  • Installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting hardware and software components
  • Providing formal and informal training and assistance to customers
  • Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests
Qualifying education is graduate education in one of the following fields of study: computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, or technology management, or has provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.

Highly Qualifying Criteria:

Possess a CompTIA Security+ or Higher Certification.

  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
  • Foreign overseas allowances, post allowance, and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility. Post Allowance (PA) and Living Quarters Allowance (LQA) are authorized.
