Under general supervision, performs routine and recurring assignments in the delivery of Information Technology customer support services.
Participates in the planning and delivery of a full range of Information Technology customer support services to the organization. Identifies and resolves issues and problems.
Provides information and assistance to customers including system hardware/software installations, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting.
Evaluates established methods and procedures and prepares recommendations for changes in methods and practices where appropriate. Presents formal and informal training to customers.
Reports, responds to and resolves customer requests. Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles and practices.
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.

A one-year probationary period may be required.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier III background investigation.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Work Experience that includes:
Participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of IT customer support services.
Installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting hardware and software components
Providing formal and informal training and assistance to customers
Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests
Qualifying education is graduate education in one of the following fields of study: computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, or technology management, or has provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
Highly Qualifying Criteria:
Possess a CompTIA Security+ or Higher Certification.
Applicants who meet both the minimum qualifications and highly qualified criteria will be referred to the selecting official for consideration first. This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Foreign overseas allowances, post allowance, and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility. Post Allowance (PA) and Living Quarters Allowance (LQA) are authorized.
