Qualifications

To qualify for a Project Manager, your resume and supporting documentation must support:

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:

  • Leading cross-functional teams of senior leaders and subject matter experts to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Decomposing complex challenges into actionable plans through the development of structured schedules, proactive status updates, and diligent oversight to ensure successful completion of requirements.
  • Managing technically intricate projects, ensuring the inclusion of relevant stakeholders and the delivery of tailored communications appropriate for each audience.
  • Securing stakeholder concurrence by rigorously adhering to established processes and ensuring thorough review adjudication.
  • Representing the organization professionally during formal briefings and in challenging or confrontational situations.
