Duties

Help
  • Process sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system and accurately perform cash drawer reconciliation upon opening and closing.
  • Execute food preparation tasks, utilizing commercial kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, speed-ovens (e.g., TurboChef), and specialized beverage equipment.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across all areas, including dishwashing, table service, floor maintenance, and waste disposal.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by warmly greeting all patrons, accurately taking food and beverage orders, and addressing inquiries.
  • Manage product levels through stocking, rotation, and inventory tracking of all food and supply items.

  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.

  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
  • Incumbent may be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Able and willing to work a schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Physical and health assessment are required.

Minimum qualifications:
1. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds.
2. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.

Allowances and Differentials
  • This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
