This vacancy announcement is for a Dual-Status Technician position which requires active membership in the New Jersey National Guard (uniformed military service). Official appointment is not effective until membership within the New Jersey National Guard is confirmed by the gaining Human Resources Office.
As an SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, GS-0132-13, you may be expected to accomplish the following::
Directs the activities of the Intelligence Collections, Analysis, Targeting, Systems and Training Readiness and Special Security Officer functions.
Serves as the Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO) of the organization and exercises overall oversight of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs and that portion of the Defense Special Security System (DSSS) under the SIO's security cognizance
Directly or via representation, assures the ANG input is developed and incorporated into the USAF or Gaining Command-sponsored workshops and conferences convened to develop and/or review the written guidance and directives pertinent to AOC operations and training.
Assures that the Joint Force Commander is fully cognizant of pertinent intelligence developments.
Facilitates the design, implementation, and evaluation of intelligence collections, analysis, targeting, and dissemination methods and processes to actualize rapid exchange of intelligence information.
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Experience in administrative, investigative, or technical work which required the applicant to deal effectively with others. Experience collecting, evaluating and organizing pertinent facts and to analyze and prepare clear and concise reports.
Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
