Starting Pay is set at $ 16.50; Internal NAF pay settings rules apply.

Creates and maintains official files and other reference materials IAW established procedures. Uses word processing software to produce a variety of documents. Uses database or spreadsheet software to enter, revise, sort, or calculate and retrieve data for reports. Uses graphic software to provide charts and graphs for viewgraphs. Answers questions concerning programs, fees, policies, and administrative requirements. Ensures funds are properly handled and stored. Collects fees, issues receipts, and prepares cash report as needed. Records payment, post account, and deposits at the end of the day. Calculates fees to be paid to all instructors, officials, and summer-hire employees. Prepares and codes all purchase orders, purchase requests, and petty cash purchases. Performs clerical support work for purchasing, procurement, and contracting that require application of knowledge of general procurement procedures and basic regulations. Notifies supervisor of account deficiencies. Types forms, letters, memorandums, position descriptions, staff summaries, and other documentation in final format. Includes responsibility for correct spelling, paragraphing, grammar and format. Maintains control/suspense logs. Purchases and stocks office supplies and orders materials. Establishes and maintains timekeeping records for several employees. Assists in completing required daily reports. Opens, closes and secures facility as required. Accounts for site assets, i.e. facilities, equipment, supplies, etc. Ensures reception area and offices are maintained in an orderly manner and is inviting to youth and parents. Updates bulletin boards and informational areas. Notifies supervisor or the appropriate offices immediately of any suspected child abuse or neglect. Makes daily distribution visits to administrative and financial offices. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have a working knowledge of computer systems to include word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and writing.
2. Must be able to type.
3. Must be capable of developing graphs, setting up spreadsheets, developing forms, formatting, etc.
4. Must be able to communicate with parents, youth and personnel in a courteous manner under stressful conditions.
5. Must be a people oriented professional.
6. Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner.
