Help
  • You will develop activity plans that identify actions, responsibilities, and schedules that must be met to ensure that proper and timely support is provided.
  • You will expedite the acquisition movement of material, review/evaluate interim support measures, and initiate corrective action.
  • You will serve as the focal point for the coordination of material support and resolution of problems.
  • You will attend meetings and briefings on the status of projects/programs and present study results and recommendations to agency management officials.
  • You will make purchases of specific, clearly defined items and serve as a buyer for the activity using the Government Purchase Card.

  • This position may be subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing life cycle supply/program support. Specialized experience includes some or all of the following: 1) Reviewing reports, plans, and/or schedules to help determine material support requirements. 2) Identifying and assisting in resolving problems relative to material support. 3) Utilizing standard purchase methods to make specific purchases. 4) Attending meetings/briefings and presenting study results. 5) Assisting in performing budget/accounting functions such as processing and recording of billing invoices, recording of obligations, expenditures, etc.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related

Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
