Supervises a large Department of the Army Civilian (DAC) staff responsible for the management of 50,000 acres of training lands, multi-million dollar facilities and training venues
Central point for control and coordination for all activities conducted within the installation training complex
Responsible for programming efforts concerning range facility modernization.
Serves as resource manager for the installation range and training lands
Must Successfully complete the Inter-service Range Safety Course (Intermediate) or the Range Safety Course Level II
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Must have normal depth perception and color vision
Must be able to travel temporary duty (TDY) up to 35% of the time
Subject to recall which may include working nights, weekends and holidays
This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work to support mission
