Duties

Help

  • Assists patrons in all areas of the Outdoor Recreation Engraving, Picture Framing and Resale Program.
  • Operates a variety of equipment in assigned area, to include cash register, computerized engraver, sublimation transfer equipment, heat presses, copiers, computerized mat cutter, guiotine frame chopper, framing under-pinner and hand power tools.
  • Establishes and maintains maintenance program for all engraving and framing equipment. Produces all necessary art work, lettering sketches, illustrations or any other method which is appropriate for the project or in connection with various job requirements.
  • Maintains files on work accomplished to include graphics, logos, designs, and lettering on a variety of materials.
  • Assists customers with mat and frame selection, computes cost for customer, and completes custom framing orders.
  • Prepares displays, orders supplies, submits marketing requests, conducts inventories and ensures receiving reports are completed for inventoried items.
  • Researches and performs product analysis and market trends/demands; budgets and orders accordingly. May provide technical guidance to coworkers and demonstrate techniques.
  • Performs and/or assists other personnel in the operation and maintenance of indoor and/or outdoor recreational facilities (Services Warehouse, RV Lot, and ODR Office). Responsible for operating the cash register, collects money, makes change and issues receipts.
  • At the end of each shift, closes out the cash register, completes required paperwork and submits entire package to supervisor.
  • Maintains security of all merchandise, equipment and funds assigned. Provides customer service, answers telephone and assists in the stocking.

Qualifying Experience:

  • Must be able to read, write, spell English and figure basic math and measurements.
  • Must have a clear speaking voice, be able to deal with the public and communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge and experience of office automation software are required and have the ability to operate a cash register.
  • Experience and knowledge of Corel Draw, computerized laser engraver and picture framing is desirable.
  • Must have responsible experience in clerical, office, cash handling or retail sales store work of any kind, which demonstrates the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position.

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
