What to Expect 

  • Utilizes internal retail tools and reporting suites such as Cognos to monitor key performance indicators, identify trends, and uncover areas of opportunity. Develops a strong understanding of how inventory movement processes impact profit & loss statements and make recommendations to management. Coordinates inventory audits and review schedules. Leverages exception reports to guide corrective actions and strengthen internal controls. Maximizes financial outcomes through proactive communication and store partnership. 
  • Assists with self-checkout, Retail Points of Sale (RPOS), ecommerce and other new retail technologies. Reviews stores' execution of planograms (POGs) through reporting, inspections and POG schematic adjustments. Identifies potential loss due to issues with product rotation and vendor credits.  Assists stores with Retail Inventory Management Application (RIMA) execution. 
  • Supervises employees to include assigning and distributing work, coaching, counseling, tutoring, and mentoring employees; approving and disapproving leave; recommending and completing personnel actions; completing performance reviews and signing timecards; training employees. 
  • Executes key holder standards: opening, closing, vendor management, light custodial duties and register operations/cash handling. Participate in year-end inventory. Identifies and communicates potential risk of loss and/or theft.  
  • This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting of up to 45 lbs. with assistance may be required including loading and unloading of trucks, carts, or pallets. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

  • Three (3) years of retail experience showcasing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, OR 
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a field related to the work of the position, OR 
  • An appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained above. 
  • Intermediate level expertise required in Microsoft Excel. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred. Some Microsoft Power BI experience preferred. 
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large data sets and train others on operational standards and procedures. 
  • Strong operational background with a demonstrated ability to lead and direct a diverse workforce. 
  • Strong working knowledge of business processes, controls and system development. 
  • Attention to detail is required.
