• Manages, coordinates, and completes USCYBERCOM congressional taskers.
• Conducts legislative analysis and performs legislative liaison work in support of congressional engagements.
• Serves as an advisor to the command leadership in preparation for all congressional engagements.
• Coordinates and annotates required support actions to update and complete tasking in command tasker tool.
• Provides expert technical analysis on congressional correspondence and inquiries.
• Coordinates with directors, functional chiefs, actions officers, and subordinate command elements to respond to congressional inquiries.
• Provides support to the Director, Legislative Liaison for maintaining and updating the schedule of congressional hearings of interest to USCYBERCOM.
• Coordinates visit request and coordinates with HQ staff for support, including building preparation material, escorting the delegation, and writing after-action reports (AARs).

Conditions of employment

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
• The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
• This position is designated Tier 5, Special Sensitive, High Risk and the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance Level with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access as a condition of employment.
• This is a Drug Testing Designated Position. This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.
• Required to sign a DA Form 5019-R (Condition of Employment for Certain Positions Identified as Critical Under the Drug Abuse Testing Program). Must pass urinalysis testing prior to appointment, reassignment, or transfer and periodically thereafter.
• The incumbent may be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.
• Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft up to 10% of the time.
• The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1.

Specialized experience would be demonstrated by (1) Providing guidance on legislative policy, generate reports for congressional testimonies, and addressing public policy issues to aid congressional decision making. (2) Investigating congressional activities and presenting findings to senior leadership to inform strategic operations, policies, and funding. (3) Advising command leadership on congressional engagements and testimony, analyze legislative matters, conduct research, and develop strategic action plans.
