This position starts at a salary of $105,383.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $161,889.00 (GS-14, Step 10) with promotion potential to $161,889 (GS-14 Step 10).
Typical work assignments include:
Preparing advance binding tariff classification rulings to importers and other interested persons.
Preparing reports for the Assistant Chief Counsel (United States Court of International Trade) on court cases, recommending the government's position utilizing data and opinions developed in the office.
Conducting national commodity trainings, webinars, port visits, and mini-trainings to promote accuracy and uniformity of CBP decisions nationwide.
Promoting Informed Compliance activities by conducting public outreach presentations and preparing Informed Compliance Publications on trade-related issues.

Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
