  • You will serve as a OPERATIONS PRODUCTION MANAGER in the CRUISE MISSILE SUPPORT ACTIVITY PACIFIC (CMSA-PAC) of the COMMAND GROUP PAC (N00) located in HONOLULU, HI.
  • You will organize, plan, direct, and administer the work of first-level supervisors and subordinate units, ensuring that work complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
  • You will develop goals and objectives that integrate organization and functional objectives.
  • You will create plans for work to be carried out by subordinate units, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules based on consideration of difficulty of requirements and assignments.
  • You will develop and evaluate subordinate employee’s performance standards.
  • You will develop and implement the department’s long-term strategic objectives and goals for the purpose of sustainment, stability, quality, capability, and capacity in support of overall command mission, functions and tasks.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
  • This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5CFR 2635.101.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience applying expert knowledge of operational Tomahawk Land Attack Cruise Missile (TLAM) variants, capabilities, flight characteristics and constraints, planning and strike execution.
  • Experience applying expert knowledge of operational Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS)/Long Range Hypersonic Weapons (LRHW) hypersonic weapon variants, capabilities, flight characteristics and constraints, planning and strike execution.
  • Experience applying expert knowledge of route planning strategy and techniques used in tactical low-level terrain following and medium altitude flight environment.
  • Experience applying expert knowledge of TLAM and CPS/LRHW weapon system and adversary country IADS interactions.
  • Experience applying expert knowledge of national intelligence resources, photogrammetric theory, and techniques in measurement and
    location positioning of imagery objects used in the generation of TERCOM, DSMAC, and VUP navigation products.
  • Experience applying expert knowledge of imagery exploitation and precision target mensuration in support of mission data generation.
  • Experience applying expert knowledge and experience with TMPC interactive computer flight modeling and analysis systems used to generate weapon commands and predict weapon system performance including probability of arrival and predicted terminal accuracy.

This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Precision strike planning activities are accomplished through one of many computer systems, across multiple network security domains, involving long periods of time interacting with multiple monitors, keyboards and pointing devices, and voice communications systems. Stereoscopic vision is required.

Incumbent must be able to pass a normal adult stereo-acuity test (Stereoscopic Vision), necessary to view and exploit stereo imagery for navigational products.

Work is performed in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) which has no windows, no Wi-Fi, and no cell phone service. Personal electronic devices are not permitted in the SCIF without specific written authorization by the Special Security Officer on a very limited case by case basis.

Telework is not authorized.

Standard facility operational hours are Monday through Friday, with Day Shift from 0400-1430 and evening shift from 1400-0030. The incumbent must have the ability to work day, swing, and night shift schedules as required. Overtime and/or emergency overtime may be required.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Recall to duty may be a requirement of this position.

This is a "KEY" position. Incumbent must be removed from their active military recall status as the alternatives for filling the position during an emergency are not readily available, due to the time, training and certification requirements necessary for the position.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
