The Chief Psychological Officer (CPO) leads the team of clinical psychologists that is responsible for complex analyses related to psychological evaluation and assessment of applicants and employees to ensure these individuals are psychologically fit for duty and psychologically suitable to hold a security clearance. The CPO is also responsible for the overall strategic direction and oversight of the psychological programs, including development, implementation and strategic partnerships.

Key Requirements
GS-15: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level. SE is defined as follows:
All degrees must be from an accredited college or university. Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows:
Applicant must have a Ph.D. OR equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related. Satisfactory completion of all the requirements for the doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology is required.
