Help
  • Maintain central control registers over the issuance of funds.
  • Provide advice to project office staff on long-range project objectives.
  • Develops financial analyses for Production Support Orders.
  • Reviews interrelated program dependencies to identify risks.
  • Implements policies that guide program execution.

  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
  • Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level II (Practitioner) in the Acquisition Career Field Business Financial Management within 60 months of entrance on duty.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that includes: 1) Managing program operations by directing resources; 2) Delivering briefings to communicate program status; 3) Conducting budget analyses to ensure compliance with policies; and 4) Adjusting program plans to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

  • Current permanent federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a term appointment will be appointed/converted into a term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.
