Duties

Help
  • Provide technical support duties to customer support personnel.
  • Diagnoses and resolves problems in response to customer reported incidents.
  • Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains customer hardware and software.
  • Provides training and instruction to enhance user performance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 0700-1700 (8-hour day shifts). Occasional work on weekends, holidays, irregular hours, and rotating shifts when requested.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:

  • Experience that provided a basic knowledge of data processing functions, system installation and general management principles that enabled the applicant to understand the stages required to automate a work process.
  • Experience may have been gained in work such as computer operator or assistant, computer sales representative, program analyst, or other positions that required the use or adaptation of computer programs and systems.
OR
  • Completion of a two year degree with a major course of study in computer science, information science, information systems management, or course work that required the development or adaptation of computer programs and systems and provided knowledge equivalent to a major in the computer field.
HIGHLY PREFERRED:
Are those candidates that possess both the minimum qualifications above and all of the following:
  • Posses a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Have at least one (1) year experience with Point-of Sales
  • Possess a valid CompTIA Security + Certification.

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
Incentives and Bonuses
  • Incentives will not be paid.
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
  • In addition to the base hourly salary, this position is eligible for a Cost Of Living Allowance (COLA) of 2.49%
