Duties

Help
  • Manage the overall cost, schedule and performance of the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) portfolio of the Program Executive Office/Project Manager (PEO/PM).
  • Responsible for management, direction, and oversight of the PM FMS Program in conjunction with the Product Manager (PdM).
  • Responsible for advising and assisting the Aerostat Product Director/Lead and PEO leadership in all matters related to PD Aerostats international programs, to include Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
  • Interpret policies, procedures, regulations, provide technical oversight and administrative advice to resolve problems and maintain continuity.
  • Provides functional expertise in the employment and operational use of Aerostats to assist customer government to define requirements and scopes of work.
  • Review regulations, policies and procedures which governs Foreign Military Sales in order to serve as a program manager for a highly complex FMS program governed by DASA (DEC).

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that includes: 1) Demonstrates experience with program management life cycle which includes cost, schedule, and performance; 2) Provides recommendations to leadership on matters related to the Foreign Military Sales programs; 3) Oversees a team on operational employment and its systems; and 4) Coordinates with internal and external customers to establish working relationships.

  • Current permanent federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a term appointment will be appointed/converted into a term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.
