Summary

This position will be assigned to the JBSA Lackland NAF Resource Accounting Office.

This is a regular part-time category position with guaranteed 20 hours per week. May work up to 34 hours/week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits.

Duties

Help

Performs daily cash reconciliation, balancing, and auditing of receipts for a number of categories and MWR facilities. Performs cash handling functions within established standards by Air Force policies and guidelines. Ensures proper cash management accountability by MWR facilities using required AF systems and forms, maintains control and tracking of various controlled forms. Responsible for Records Management of Central Cashier documents, reports, forms for all NAF Accounting Office locations. Assist MWR facilities with change funds accountability and balancing. Assist NAF AO with updating and collecting required memos, letters, and documents for MWR facilities files and tracking. Research Cash balancing issues. Recognizes and identifies unique and/or unusual trends in cash handling by MWR facilities. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
Cash handling experience. Customer Service experience. General clerical experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's) for position:
Basic understanding of regulations and guides to be able to interpret and apply in a variety of accounting situations.

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
