Duties

Help
  • You will perform internal management analysis services in the areas of assigned programs monitoring, annual fiscal planning, and development of annual work plans, for the procedural and relationship aspects of the department.
  • You will manage Div Training Program; Div Procurement; Div Documentation/Correspondence (including Command Assessment Program metrics) and Controls; tracking and analytics of division funds.
  • You will evaluate, advise on, implement, optimize, and standardize division office work methods and procedures, distribution of work assignments, and documentation systems, ensuring department compliance with external requirements.
  • You will maintain Division Instructions and is responsible for content of administrative-related instructions (e.g. maintaining records in good order, verifying document expiration, and ensuring appropriate signatures are in place).
  • You will analyze, develop, implement, and evaluate policies, systems, and procedures for one or more of the following: records, document imaging systems, or information reports requirements management.
  • You will coordinate the review of records.
  • You will have primary analytical responsibility within SPP30 to formulate budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, activities, review and evaluate Job Order Number (JON) costs, controls, and reporting of Branch JON’s.
  • You will develop cost/pricing data, analyzes contractor proposals to determine reasonableness, applicability, and comprehensiveness of cost; and develop data for use in pricing trends analyses.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience, one year of which was at or equivalent to the NH-1 (GS-4 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing training programs; utilizing programs such as Microsoft SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; serving as a purchasing agent responsible for monitoring budgets; creating and responding to professional correspondence, specifically with the Navy Correspondence Manual; and serving as a classified material control custodian and JPASS operator making visit requests.

Education

In lieu of general experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

  • Successful completion of a full four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree; OR
  • A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
