Duties

Help
  • You will serve as the technical liaison between PMRF, Fleet commands, the event sponsor, Commander, Joint Region Marianas and other external agencies or commands that are involved in the planning of scheduled Fleet training events and exercises.
  • You will develop, coordinate, and/or monitor quality assurance and configuration management programs and procedures.
  • You will provide technical guidance on quality assurance best practices to internal and external customers.
  • You will prepare and maintain documentation related to quality assurance and/or configuration management functions and best practices.
  • You will utilize statistical tools and methods. inspection techniques, and analytical skills to perform quality assurance and configuration management activities.
  • You will read and interpret Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Navy (DON) quality assurance and configuration management policies to ensure program compliance.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing quality assurance functions for a unit or team such as: developing and monitoring quality assurance projects and/or programs; resolving problems related to quality assurance; and/or providing technical guidance on quality assurance policies and procedures.
