Duties

Help

  • Incumbent will be assigned primarily to the Liberty center to provide direct customer service to patrons using the facility.
  • Responsibilities may include greeting customers, and refer telephone calls, provide information regarding the facility and programs. Incumbent assists with planning, coordinating, and execution of classes, and special events, family activity nights for squadron and tenant commands.
  • Assists with Deployed Forces Support activities such as but not limited to Command's Send Off, Halfway Parties, and Homecomings. Provides technical assistance/training to patrons to ensure care used when carrying out programs and activities.
  • May be required to drive an 8 or 15 passenger van, keep trip records, participant counts, and custody of equipment. Distribute information.
  • Responsible for collection and safeguarding of any funds that may be collected as a result of a fee or change. Light housekeeping, and other related duties as assigned.

  • Successful completion of National Agency Background (NACI) Check required.
  • This position may require the incumbent to be available to work special events, weekends and holidays.
  • A valid state driver’s license and High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • This position is required to do considerable standing, bending, stooping, walking, pushing, reaching, climbing and lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain food handler’s certification, CPR and First Aid within 90 days of hire.
  • Starting May 7, 2025, non-affiliated individuals requesting access will need a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or another acceptable form of identification to access CNRNW Installations. (Review required documents section for more information.)

Qualifications

  • Must have one-year practical work experience including direct customer service or experience with data entry, word processing, internet, e-mail, etc.
  • At least one-year experience handling cash and utilizing point of sale system.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations and communicate effectively and courtesy, using proper English both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written directions, and present a neat and clean appearance.

Education

A minimum of high-school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.

Additional information

Salary is dependent on experience and/or education. Some positions have special requirements. Selectee may be required to complete a one (1) year probationary period.
