Duties

Help
  • You will provide direction and oversight on IT services and integrated cybersecurity programs.
  • You will recommend alternate technological solutions in support of client requirements and budgetary constraints.
  • You will monitor cybersecurity compliance of the cloud services, networks, systems, and Modeling and Simulation systems to manage risk and more rapidly adjust resources to meet fluctuating and unpredictable operational requirements.
  • You will implement Risk Management Framework (RMF) to secure and provision networks, systems, and applicants.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (IAM) Information Assurance Manager, level 3 the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

GS-12: Your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating the following:1) Providing IT services for cybersecurity programs;2) Assisting with Risk Management Framework (RMF) across a wide range of classifications, networks, and systems; and3) Providing IT operational support, procurement, and configuration management.

GS-13: Your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating the following:1) Managing cybersecurity programs, providing direction and support on IT services and cybersecurity programs;2) Implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF) across a wide range of classifications, networks, and systems to include modeling & simulation; and3) Managing IT Core Services such as operational support, procurement, and configuration management.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
