Responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing all hardware, software, network failures and providing a solution for IT service request elevated to the assigned tier.
Responsible for receiving, imaging, inventory, and deployment of all new ad life-cycle replacement systems.
Actively supports daily operations and sustainment of enterprise configuration management.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Information Technology (IT) Management Series 2210 located here.
Individual Occupational Requirement:
This standard allows eligibility through meeting either the requirements specified in the section titled Education or the requirements specified in the section titled Experience.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience must include experience which demonstrates each of the following four competencies: 1) Attention to Detail, 2) Customer Service, 3) Oral Communication, 4) Problem solving. (The experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training; for example: IT certification.)
OR
Education: Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the following fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks. Must submit all relevant transcripts.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Have exceptional experience and performance as GS-09 or GS-11 equivalent grade in IT service management.
Be able to work well with teams and to provide customers with the best IT support and services.
Knowledge and experience in public key infrastructure, local registration authority tokens issuance, certification and registration practices.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Ability to provide advanced IT technical support to customers.
Ability to research, analyze, interpret, and apply computer sciences and information technology principles and practices.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to work in team to solve complex issues.
Advanced knowledge level of systems principles and techniques, enterprise IT architecture and new IT technologies, (e.g. cyber operations, prototypes, pilots, and operational applications).
Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations with other personnel to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.
Intermediate knowledge level of LAN/WAN and system principles, techniques and practices sufficiently to install, configure, and troubleshoot client systems and components; Assist in the planning, operation, and maintenance of a LAN/WAN, including the installation and implementation of enhancements.
Advanced knowledge level of systems principles and techniques, enterprise IT architecture and new IT technologies, (e.g. cyber operations, prototypes, pilots, and operational applications).
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
