D2196000 GS-9: May serve as the developmental position for the ARNG Food Program Manager responsible and accountable for oversight of the entire state ARNG Food Service program which includes the administration of the Food Service Budget, Awards Program, new equipment fielding's, training, Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) and inspections. Maintains oversight of daily, weekly, monthly, and long term system requirements, ARNG Readiness Center equipment modifications, and requirements to meet current workload demands. Provides technical liaison service to each ARNG unit, prime vendor, and other vendor companies. In accordance with provisions of the Army Regulations internal control systems, initiates, accomplishes and maintains vulnerability assessments, internal control reviews, and, as applicable, proponent checklist. Monitors State ARNG federally funded Readiness Centers and ARNG Dining Facilities to ensue they remain within authorized standards and the required reviews are conducted. Performs other duties as assigned.

D2197000 GS-11: Serves as the ARNG Food Program Manager responsible and accountable for oversight of the entire state ARNG Food Service program which includes the administration of the Food Service Budget, Awards Program, new equipment Fielding's, training, Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) and inspections. Maintains oversight of daily, weekly, monthly, and long term system requirements, ARNG Readiness Center equipment modifications, and requirements to meet current workload demands. Monitors the AFMIS to ensure reporting requirements from local, DA, NGB, and vendors are timely and contain accurate and formatted data. Assists and coordinates with functional specialist in the identification of operational requirements and the conversion of these requirements into automated systems documentation. Provides troubleshooting support by analyzing, studying , reviewing, testing, and interpreting information provided by user to determine whether hardware of software problems exists. Provides technical liaison service to each ARNG unit, prime vendor, and other vendor companies. Serves as the Contracting Officer Representative and submits technical specifications of contract requirements for commercial vendors when providing meal support. Conducts, coordinates, and evaluates inspections and assistance visits to ensure compliance with policies and regulations and to identify systemic problems. In accordance with provisions of the Army Regulations internal control systems, initiates, accomplishes and maintains vulnerability assessments, internal control reviews, and as applicable, proponent checklists. Monitors State ARNG federally funded Readiness Centers and ARNG Dining Facilities to ensure they remain within authorized standards and that required reviews are conducted. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
  • Must be a current Permanent Dual Status Military Technician with the Colorado Army National Guard.
  • Must hold the grade of E-6 thru O-3 or W-1 thru W-5.
  • Submit all required documentation.
  • For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.

Qualifications

Military Grades: E-6 thru O-3 or W-1 thru W-5

1. Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.

Must have at least 12 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following:
GS-9:
- Experience which involved detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities).
- Experience planning and organizing work assignments.

GS-11:
- Experience which includes identifying activities involving logistical support operations.
- Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan.
- Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan.
- Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions.

Education

Education cannot be substituted for Specialized Experience for this position.
