Receive, store, identify and issue items, finished stock, raw stock and replacement parts for shop personnel.
Ensure tools and equipment function properly.
Calibrate torque wrenches that are used in production operations.
Conduct inventory by counting items on hand, searching for missing items and taking recounts in established locations and setting up locations for new items.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
This position meets the criteria with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs and is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion.

About the Position:
This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at McAlester, OK. This position serves as a Tool Room Attendant for the Ammunition Operations Production and Maintenance Division will receive, store, identify, issue, and deliver items used by production personnel.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a Tools and Parts Attendant ~ without more than normal supervision. Must possess the ability to perform common warehousing techniques such as receiving, storing, issuing, and re-warehousing materials, interpreting and applying warehouse plans and checking numbers and names of items on container labels to receiving documents. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
Physical Effort: Work requires standing, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Frequently lifts and carries items that weigh up to 10 pounds, and occasionally handles items weighing up to 40 pounds.
Working Conditions: Work is done in a storage area that is well lighted and heated, but occasionally drafty and noisy. Is frequently exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes, and bruises.
