Manages special projects, technical planning, systems engineering, and life-cycle support planning.
Plans and coordinates efforts of government and commercial activities involved in research and development (RandD), technology advancements, upgrades, design, and developmental engineering of enterprise systems.
Serves as an Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) on projects, working groups, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
Serves as a SME to provide senior technical direction, guidance, and leadership for orchestrating the development, integration, maintenance, and operations of J-6 systems.
Leads various interdisciplinary project teams comprised of government and contractor personnel, to include Information Technology specialists, network and software engineers.
Serves as an IT specialist managing overall systems operations and infrastructure within the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program Management Office (PMO), DLA, Program Executive Office (PEO), J62A.
DAI reports to the DLA PEO to develop, deliver, and sustain financial management system solutions for the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense, Comptroller (OUSD(C)) and other DoD enterprises. The OUSD(C) serves as the DAI Functional Sponsor (FS).
Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal.

Qualifications
To qualify for an IT Specialist (OS), your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-15 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Provides project team leadership and performs individual duties involved in defining goals and objectives; prioritizing program requirements; managing budget execution and determining the best utilization of resources including realignments to address shortfalls or to satisfy priority needs for the assigned project.
Performs all life-cycle aspects of program management from design, development, systems engineering, integration, testing, configuration management, implementation, risk management, quality assurance, and operational fielding for the assigned project.
Provides overall direction and guidance for the systems operations, testing, and configuration management teams.
For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
