Performs critical processes against criminal, terrorist or hostile intelligence activities to ensure the safeguarding of national level operating systems
and facilities.
Performs the responsibilities of physical protection of sensitive or classified information to ensure the protection of personnel, facilities or other
sensitive materials within the White House Communications Agency.
Responsible for organizing, planning and conducting the most complex and sensitive of technical investigations.
Researches and evaluates physical security systems capable of minimizing systemic vulnerabilities.
Serves as the technical authority for planning, implementing and evaluating procedures designed to protect agency personnel and property from hostile
intelligence and terrorist activity
This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Technical expertise of intrusion detection systems and devices, safes and other storage containers, locks and locking systems, personnel entry control systems, security measures applicable to transporting and shipping requirements.
