Duties

Help
  • Performs a wide variety of technical support, focused primarily in the areas of recruitment and staffing.
  • Coordinates with management officials to recruit for position vacancies.
  • Creates and posts vacancy announcements.
  • Rates resumes for qualifications, hiring preference/priority criteria and other job-related criteria; refers qualified candidates to management for consideration.
  • Responds to applicant and management inquiries on procedures such as application procedures, application statuses, criteria used in qualifications decisions.

This is a developmental position leading to the full performance level, NF-0203-03

NF-02 (Developmental)

Possess six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, which demonstrates the ability to accomplish various human resources tasks and utilize human resource information systems.

NF-03

1. Possess six (6) months of work experience in a human resources profession which demonstrates the capability to perform a variety of recruitment functions, such as posting vacancy announcements and rating applicants for qualifications and eligibility.
2. Possess experience utilizing an automated recruitment and staffing system (i.e. USA Staffing, Avue, Resumix, PeopleSoft, etc.)
3. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
4. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.

Highly Preferred: In addition to the qualifications listed above, applicants will possess prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in a recruitment and placement capacity.
